Mobilising the Church to Pray

How can Encouraged to Pray help the people of your church flow in effective prayer?

The Dream In Every Pastor's Heart

Every pastor dreams of seeing the people they shepherd grow in their love for God and the Lord Jesus.

They envision unity as people walk with the Holy Spirit.

They hope for a deep hunger for revelations from God's Word and for believers to grow in their gifts, impacting those around them.

Church leaders long to see to see people share the love and  saving grace of Jesus with their families and communities, baptise new believers, and transform them into disciples of Christ.

They desire God's Kingdom and want to see it manifest in the lives of the people in their congregations.

They want the will of our Father in heaven to be done on earth as it is in heaven so the living water of Jesus flows into their community and beyond.

Group community People diverse hands holding circle to pray for God each other support tog
Prayer is a key to making these dreams a reality.

But how do you mobilise a whole church in prayer?

The spiritual opposition is fierce. The last thing the enemy wants to see is a church mobilised to pray.

When people pray, God moves in a mighty way. The river of living water flows.

How do you enable people from diverse backgrounds and differing time schedules to pray with purpose straight from God's Word?

How do you counteract the opposition that comes from

1.    Lack of vision to pray as a        collective body of people

2.    Lack of unity

3.    Busyness of life

4.    Complacency and lack of urgency

5.    Not knowing how to pray and what to pray

6.    People at different stages of their Christian walk

The Targeted Prayer Challenges will help you overcome these difficulties.
It is prayer made easy.

What do pastors and church leaders say about the 40-day Targeted Prayer Challenge: Purposefully Praying for the Lost and the Found?

Rosanne has put together a method of praying scripture in a very personal way for the 'lost' and for those who are 'saved.'

I noticed my relationships with the people I was praying for changed. My heart changed towards them, and they became more open to me.

I believe that Rosanne Martin, a woman of prayer, the Word, and the prophetic, has been led by God to write this 40-day Targeted Prayer Challenge: Purposefully Praying for the Lost and the Found.

I found this resource to be a real encouragement to me and to the church. I trust you will too.

Russell Watts, Senior Pastor of RBC and WCBC, at the time of writing this. Rosanne’s pastor for 12 years

Rosanne, I think the crafted prayers you have written for the Lost and Found are just amazing.

You have put a lot of time, energy and thought into how to say things and the right way to interpret the verses.

The prayers are well written, imaginative, envisioning and link to the scriptures and the intent of the verses for each day. You are aligning your prayers with the revealed Word of God and the heart of God.

I absolutely loved them. It united the church and gave us an outward focus as we emerged from the pandemic.

The prayers helped prepare the church for the new pastor.

I believe this Targeted Prayer Challenge made a real difference in the church.

Lloyd Ashworth, the Transitional Pastor at RBC during the pandemic years

Rick gave this feedback two weeks into the 40-day Targeted Prayer Challenge: Purposefully Praying for the Lost and the Found.

I like the journey with 'Praying for the Lost and the Found.

It's lovely reflecting on scripture and praying into it with your prepared prayers.

Much of the work of the 'lost becoming found' is dependent on God but we are so blessed he invites us into that journey to play our part. Your prayers are sensitively formed to recognise this.

I have appreciated the way you encourage the prayer at the end of each week and for the challenge at the beginning of Week 3 to commit to seven days of prayer in a row…thank you for sharing this wonderful resource with me.
