Yes! It works very well for a whole group to use this Targeted Prayer Campaign. It was trialed using the prototype in booklet form in two consecutive years in my home church at Ranui Baptist (RBC) and once at Whangerei Central Baptist Church (WCBC) where my Pastor of 14 years became senior pastor. Many of the people who were on these trial still use this prototype to help them to pray today. WCBC used the updated email version of the Targeted Prayer Campaign: Praying for the Lost and the Found as part of their focus on prayer in July-August 2020. During the pandemic, in 2021, RBC once again committed to using this resource to pray for their loved ones. Family members are coming to know Jesus and God is moving in this church. It created a sense of unity. You can pray for one person who is Lost and one person who is Found OR for a group of people OR any number in between. Some people like to pray for two people on each list so they can really focus on them. Others have lots of people on their lists and are happy to name them all. You get to choose who will be on your list.

Ask Holy Spirit to show you how you should pray for these people. Rest assured, God knows where they are at and his desire is that they would know the love He has for them through Jesus. The important thing is that you are bringing these people before him and inviting him to move in their lives. He is not limited by the category we have placed them in.

Don’t fret. Life happens. Just pick it up the next day. 40 days of prayer is 40 days of prayer, even if it takes you 45 days to complete. If you only manage 20 days, then it’s 20 days of prayers to our Father in heaven. Rejoice! It is better to pray with a joyful, willing heart than do so out of obligation and guilt. However, we encourage you to push in and complete the campaign if you can.
