A Prophetic Invitation to Ask God for Wisdom.

Wisdom, who needs it?

I do! I need it for every area of my life. For this reason, I started the year in Proverbs, asking My heavenly Father for wisdom: wisdom for my family, relationships, business, and church role, and wisdom to steward the gifts I have been given well.

What about you? Do you need more Godly wisdom?

This blog post will be a bit different from the previous ones, as the Lord gave me some instructions to be honest and share a prophetic word he gave me, for you.

I was struggling to write this post. Initially, the Lord had told me to encourage people to seek his wisdom but not to teach. But I got excited about the scriptures and started teaching. It was devoid of the Holy Spirit's anointing.

While in conversation with my heavenly Father about it, he told me to check my heart and see why I was struggling to write this newsletter.

To my dismay, I found that there was pride and the desire for acknowledgement and praise from the people on my list which was impeding my heart's desire to encourage you to pursue and walk in the wisdom of God as Jesus did.

I repented, asked for and received the Father's forgiveness.

The wisdom he gave me was to check the motives of my heart, to be teachable and to listen to his loving correction.

I then asked the Lord if he had a message for the people on my list. He did. He gave me a love letter for you. It was given to me in first person, touching my heart with his love.

Below is what our heavenly Father wanted to say to you. I pray it will touch you with the love of the Father as well.

Like any prophetic word, you must ask the Lord if this is a word from him.

Ask whether it aligns with scripture. Is it encouraging, edifying or comforting?

If you feel it is a message from the Lord, read and receive it.

If you feel it is not a word you want to receive, then say I will not accept this word and delete it.

Prophecy

I have wisdom for every situation you find yourself in, so ask me for it.

Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Call to me, and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Ask me, and I will gladly share my wisdom with you.

My beloved child, I want you to succeed in the works I have for you to do in Jesus, but you will need my wisdom and insight. I want you to be fruitful in every area of your life, encompassing work, ministry, relationships, and so much more. My wisdom looks different from the worldly wisdom trying to get your attention.

My wisdom is freely available, and the Holy Spirit is waiting to reveal it and help you apply it in your life. I will give you my wisdom in generous measures. I will not belittle you or find fault with you when you ask me for wisdom.

Jesus walks in my life because he loved me with all his heart, mind , soul and strength. Everything he did while on earth was founded in my love and wisdom. My favour was on him.

I love seeing you grow in wisdom and become more like Jesus. It fills me with joy, as I know I can trust you with increase. My favour rests on you, and I am opening doors for you where you will need my wisdom.

I have so much to share with you, so come and ask of me.

Love from Your heavenly Father

Here is a challenge for you.

For the next month, simply ask for wisdom and record what the Holy Spirit tells you.

Questions like:

What wisdom do you have for me today, Father, in the area of….?

What is wisdom saying to me now?

My Prayers For You

Based on Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways submit to him,

and he will make your paths straight.

Father, please show the person reading this, how to trust you with all his/her heart today.

What practical steps can they take to do this?

As he/she reads your word, please reveal the truth that it contains and give his/her wisdom and understanding in it's application in life.

Help them clearly hear your voice of guidance so they won't lean on his/her own understanding and take a path that is deviates from the way of Jesus.

Please give wisdom for the decisions he/she will make today.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen
